About Me

Prague, Czech Republic – Spring 2012

Hi, my name is Andrea and I am a senior communication major and Spanish minor at the University of Maryland. Last spring, I studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain where I had the opportunity to experience the Catalan culture, travel to 10 countries, and eat the most exquisite food imaginable without breaking the bank. Upon my arrival in the States, many of my friends asked me how I managed to spend so little, see so much, overcome the language barrier, and get through the semester without being pick-pocketed once. My blog is dedicated to answering these types of questions.

Feel free to contribute your thoughts and concerns. I’ll do the best that I can to provide you with the most helpful information based on my experiences and those of my peers.

Buena suerte!
